Bank of Jiangsu’s legacy database experienced increasingly slow query analysis under high concurrency and heavy loads, urgently requiring improved responsiveness. Audit-related SQL queries, characterized by high randomness and complexity, demanded robust underlying database performance to ensure timely auditing services. In terms of scalability, the traditional architecture offered limited expansion in both compute and storage capacity, unable to meet future system scaling needs for audits. From a cost perspective, the system needed high cost-effectiveness to avoid unsustainable maintenance and expansion due to excessive later-stage investment.

Solution

Utilizes GBase 8a MPP Cluster as the data platform layer for the auditing system, integrating relevant business data and running various complex audit models to achieve performance gains over ten times that of traditional databases. Provides high-performance audit services on massive business data, and further supports the planning requirements for continuously expanding audit scope, business foresight, and comprehensiveness in a big data environment.

The cluster consists of several compute nodes and loaders, using a dual-replica data mechanism to ensure high data availability.
