Project Background

As Changshu Rural Commercial Bank's business expanded and data accumulated rapidly, vast amounts of historical data remained underutilized, and financial services and innovation lacked IT support. To unlock the full value of data and support decision-making, the bank procured GBase 8a to integrate massive data from its accounting, credit, and international settlement systems, building an enterprise-wide data center.

Solution

The solution deployed GBase 8a as the analytical database to construct the data center. Using GBase 8a's high-speed loading tool, data from accounting, credit, and international settlement business systems was synchronized to the data center in near real-time, enabling effective historical data analysis. With columnar storage, smart indexing, and high compression technologies, disk I/O was significantly reduced, delivering a major boost in query and statistical analysis performance compared to the legacy system. The platform supports ad-hoc queries, multidimensional analysis, and complex BI application visualizations.
