Solutions
This project deployed a 2×3 node cluster, leveraging GBase 8a MPP Cluster, a massively parallel processing distributed database system, to establish the core data management layer of the data platform, creating a unified foundational data platform for all data. The current data volume is 14 TB, with a daily incremental growth of 20 GB, totaling over 1,300 tables. The largest table holds 4.7 billion rows, and daily batch processing runs for 4–5 hours. Aligned with business needs, the configuration includes 1 loading server and 6 computing nodes.
Requirements Analysis
l Powerful: Seamlessly integrates data migration, data processing, data querying, and application connectivity into one platform;
l High Performance: Delivers rapid response for data loading, import/export, processing, splitting, and querying;
l High Availability: Ensures 24/7 continuous operation and eliminates downtime caused by single points of failure or system maintenance;
l Tooling & Interfaces: Monitors performance, storage usage, CPU utilization, memory usage, and SQL performance; supports the SQL-92 standard and provides ODBC, JDBC, ADO.NET, and native C API interfaces that comply with international specifications.
