During the 2020 Chinese New Year holiday, the COVID-19 outbreak surged aggressively, igniting a nationwide smokeless battle against the epidemic. At this most critical moment of epidemic prevention, Shan Zefeng, Secretary of the CPC Tianjin Binhai Hi-tech Zone Working Committee, Director of the Zone's Administrative Committee, and Chairman of Hi-Tech Group, led a delegation to visit GBASE (General Data Technology) on February 16 to inspect the company's work resumption. Showing great concern for key enterprises, they delivered the most needed protective supplies at a time when epidemic prevention materials were scarce nationwide.

GBASE strictly followed epidemic prevention requirements and launched an internal campaign "Fight the Epidemic Together, Protect Everyone's Health." While preparing all necessary epidemic prevention supplies for returning employees, the company also developed contingency plans and strictly enforced prevention procedures: each employee was provided with masks, hand sanitizer, alcohol, and other protective items; remote meeting tools were used whenever possible to avoid gatherings; face-to-face communication was avoided or kept at a distance when necessary; in addition, administrative colleagues disinfected office areas and workstations with alcohol and 84 disinfectant daily, sterilized surfaces, and ensured regular ventilation. These measures allowed everyone to work with greater peace of mind and safety.

In the face of the pandemic, countless people built a solid line of defense at the front, while we in the rear deeply felt the warm support of the Binhai Hi-tech Zone Administrative Committee. Although the situation remains severe, all GBASE staff know they cannot shirk their responsibilities and duties. Putting customers first, GBASE actively applied for work resumption while ensuring employee safety. Having received approval from the Tianjin Binhai Hi-tech Zone Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters, the company fully resumed normal operations on February 19. The road ahead is long and challenging, but we hope to journey together and wait for the spring flowers to bloom.
