On November 7, the annual conference of the Big Data Development Promotion Committee, jointly hosted by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), the China Communications Standards Association (CCSA), and the Data Center Alliance (DCA), was held in Beijing.

The conference announced the new list of products that passed the big data product evaluation, and GBase (General Data Technology Co., Ltd.) was among them. Dai Xiaohui, Executive Deputy Secretary-General of CCSA and Chairman of DCA, presented certificates to representatives of the companies that passed the evaluation. The DCA’s big data product evaluation has been running for three years, setting a benchmark for big data product development and assessment in the industry.

GBase’s large-scale distributed parallel database cluster system, GBase 8a MPP Cluster, passed the dedicated performance test. During the 8-day test cycle, it completed four major scenarios — SQL capability, mixed load, stress, and stability. After expert evaluation, the results were deemed valid, earning this certificate. In the first half of this year, GBase 8a MPP Cluster had already passed the basic capability test.

GBase 8a MPP Cluster is a mature analytical database for the big data era. It features an industry-leading federated architecture, supports cluster scales exceeding 300 nodes, and manages data volumes greater than 30PB. It is suitable for both petabyte-scale big data and terabyte-scale small data scenarios, and is widely used in industries such as telecommunications, finance, government and enterprise, security, and Internet for massive data queries, statistical analysis, data warehouse support, ad-hoc queries, and similar analytical workloads.
