GBase was invited to attend the 2017 China IoT Conference

From November 8 to 10, 2017, the 2017 China IoT Conference, themed "Smart IoT, Co-creating a Smart Society," was held in Fuzhou. Top scholars and business leaders in the IoT field focused on cutting-edge theories and applied technologies, engaging in in-depth discussions on the development trends of China's IoT. GBase was invited to attend the conference and delivered an insightful presentation.

Sharing IoT Information Processing Solutions

Built on Database Technologies

Du Guowang, Vice President of GBase, shared an IoT information processing solution built on database technologies. In IoT applications, the GBase 8e Embedded Database addresses many challenges by computing data rules and issuing alerts for threshold exceedances or rule violations. For example, it resolves transmission contention for time-of-use electricity meters and overcomes limitations caused by excessive monitoring data and points in distribution centers. The GBase 8t Transactional Database supports complex transactions, statistical summaries, and other information systems, ensuring data storage continuity, high-compression-ratio storage, and batch data extraction, while providing excellent information presentation. It supports various IoT scenarios, such as power dispatch applications and product pricing and release for supermarket chains.

During the conference, the IoT Expert Committee of the Chinese Institute of Electronics completed its election of new members. The new committee is chaired by Academician Yin Hao, with Academician Wu Hequan serving as Honorary Chair. In addition to academicians, university experts, and association specialists, the committee has further expanded its representation by including outstanding enterprises committed to IoT development. Du Guowang, Vice President of GBase, was elected as a committee member.
