GBase Named a Member of the Safe and Reliable Technology Industry Alliance

On April 28, the second meeting of the Safe and Reliable Technology Industry Alliance Council and the general assembly of alliance members was held at the Wanshou Hotel in Beijing. At the meeting, GBase (General Data Technology Co., Ltd.) was reviewed and approved as a member of the alliance.

Over 100 participants, including representatives of alliance council members, general members, and Executive Secretaries Li Haibo and Wang Li from the Alliance Secretariat, attended the meeting. Li Ying, an inspector from the Information and Software Services Division of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), was present and delivered a speech.

Inspector Li Ying stated that the alliance has played a pivotal role in supporting the industry. The Information and Software Services Division will continue to support and guide the alliance's work, expressing hope that the alliance will strengthen collaborative innovation, properly manage the relationships among supply, demand, and the market, focus on dependable support service capabilities, use reliable standards as a lever to promote solution development, deepen industry-application interaction, and refine the industrial ecosystem.

As a domestic database provider, GBase places great importance on and actively engages in work related to safe and reliable technologies.

Delivering Safe and Reliable Solutions

GBase actively collaborates with 10 Tier-1 system integrators within the Safe and Reliable Technology Industry Alliance to drive solution adaptation efforts. It has completed solution adaptations for vendors including Inspur, Shenzhou Software, Neusoft, Tsinghua Tongfang, DHC Software, and Thunisoft. GBase is also actively promoting partnerships and optimizing solutions with integrators such as ChinaSoft, Digital China, Aisino, and Taiji.

Furthermore, GBase has established a dedicated task force for safe and reliable technical assurance. Drawn from the R&D and technical service team behind the secure database GBase 8s, this team is responsible for supporting and ensuring the adaptation and optimization of integrator solutions. It will also provide users of these solutions with comprehensive, timely, and professional technical support and training services.

A Long-Term Strategy for Database Talent Development

GBase has launched the "GBase University Outreach" program, collaborating with higher education institutions to cultivate domestic database talent. It has signed cooperation agreements with universities including Tsinghua University, Nankai University, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and Jilin University to train skilled professionals in this field. In addition, GBase has joined the China Software Industry-Academia Interaction Alliance, operating under the joint guidance of MIIT and the Ministry of Education, serving as the alliance's vice-chair. GBase has also actively participated in the "China Software Cup" competition, guided by MIIT's Information and Software Services Division, as a sponsor and a question-setting body. Moving forward, GBase will continue to participate in industry-academia activities to promote the education and popularization of China's homegrown databases.
