Recently, the launch ceremony of the first 'Cybersecurity China Tour' series of events was held in Tianjin. Li Hongzhong, Secretary of the CPC Tianjin Municipal Committee; Wang Xiujun, Deputy Director of the Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) and Deputy Director of the National Cyberspace Administration; Chen Zhemin, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Tianjin Municipal Committee and Director of the Publicity Department; and Fang Binxing, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Chairman of the China Cyberspace Security Association, attended the ceremony.

Wang Xiujun pointed out that the Cybersecurity Law was officially implemented on June 1, and implementing this law is the central task of cybersecurity work for the current and future period. We should take this opportunity to plan comprehensively, promote overall progress, and carry out all aspects of national cybersecurity work thoroughly. We must conduct extensive public education on the Cybersecurity Law to raise awareness; accelerate the implementation of key tasks and priorities, and promptly improve supporting policies and regulations; give full play to the role of industry organizations and other parties to create strong synergy; and regard strict law enforcement as an important means to maintain cybersecurity, creating a situation where no one dares to, can, or even thinks of breaking the law.
