GBASE: From Little Giant to a Major Brand

Today, GBASE has grown from a Little Giant into a major brand. In 2010, GBASE was recognized as a Tianjin Little Giant enterprise; by 2013 it had been designated a Tianjin Little Giant Leading Enterprise. During this period, the company's scale increased by 500%.

From 2014 to 2016, GBASE was ranked as the "number-one domestic database brand" in the annual China Platform Software Market Research Report published by CCID Consulting for three consecutive years. From 2013 to 2016, GBASE consistently ranked sixth in IDC reports, and was the only Chinese database vendor to be individually ranked by IDC.

World-Class Products Breaking Foreign Monopoly

GBASE series databases have been deployed in the core business systems of over 70 industries—including banking, securities, insurance, telecommunications, electric power, transportation, as well as government, Party, and military sectors—effectively breaking the monopoly of foreign vendors.

After years of dedicated R&D, GBASE has developed multiple world-class products, such as:

GBase 8a: A mature analytical MPP database for the big data era. Its introduction filled a domestic void, breaking the technological and market monopoly of foreign vendors in this field. It has now been deployed at scale in banking, telecommunications, government, finance, security, and government departments, generating significant economic benefits.

GBase 8t: A transactional database supporting high-end business. With outstanding genes coupled with GBASE's core innovation capabilities, GBase 8t has rapidly become a leading domestic transactional database and is able to replace Oracle in mission-critical applications, accomplishing the goal of eliminating "O" (Oracle) .

InfiniData T-Series Appliance: A transactional database appliance designed for high-end business, featuring high stability, balanced performance, high availability, and easy maintenance. It is a world-class database appliance that Chinese users can truly afford, and serves as a comprehensive solution for eliminating IOE (IBM, Oracle, EMC) in one step.

GBASE Aggressively Advances Cutting-Edge R&D

At the cybersecurity and informatization work symposium on April 19, President Xi Jinping stated that the greatest risk is having core technologies controlled by others. He stressed the need to break through in core technologies, noting that with forward-looking deployment and concentrated efforts, it is very possible to shift from following and keeping pace to leading.

As an innovative enterprise, GBASE is vigorously advancing research on disruptive frontier technologies and co-developing products with large corporate customers. We believe that in the near future, GBASE will become a representative of Chinese software, and with its homegrown intellectual property, achieve the transition from following and keeping pace to leading, thereby spearheading the development of China's domestic IT industry.
