General Data Technology (GBase) co-initiated the CIO Chapter of the China Software Industry Association.

On July 8, 2017, the inaugural conference of the CIO Chapter of the China Software Industry Association and the "2017 China 'Internet Plus' Big Data Innovation Application Expert Summit" were held in Beijing. The event was hosted by the China Software Industry Association and co-organized by General Data Technology (GBase) and other companies.

At the conference, the CIO Chapter of the China Software Industry Association was officially established. With the witness of Secretary-General Lu Weifeng, Executive Deputy Secretary-General Chen Baoguo of the China Software Industry Association, and renowned experts from across the country and various industries, General Data Technology (GBase) received the following appointments:

● Dr. Wu Xin, Senior Vice President and CTO of General Data Technology (GBase) — Appointed as Deputy Director of the CIO Chapter of the China Software Industry Association

● Dr. Wu Xin, Senior Vice President and CTO of General Data Technology (GBase) — Appointed as Expert Committee Member of the Expert Advisory Committee of the CIO Chapter of the China Software Industry Association

● Du Guowang, Vice President of General Data Technology (GBase) — Appointed as Deputy Secretary-General of the CIO Chapter of the China Software Industry Association

At the conference, Du Guowang delivered a speech titled "Domestic Databases Empowering the Implementation of a Secure and Reliable Strategy," introducing GBase's domestic ecosystem development and service system, which has built a product technical support and service system with vertical industry services and horizontal regional services. Its business covers the entire country, with extensive experience and expertise in telecommunications, finance, electric power, energy, transportation, and other industries.

As one of the most important co-initiators of the CIO Chapter, General Data Technology (GBase) will live up to expectations, actively cooperate with the China Software Industry Association and the CIO Chapter in all endeavors, adapt to the development trends of the new era, better serve central government agencies, local governments, enterprises, public institutions, and other relevant organizations, and contribute to China's informatization development.
