Staying True to Our Mission, Creating New Brilliance – GBase 2017 Annual Conference Successfully Held

On February 12, GBase held its 2017 Annual Conference at the Tianjin Society Hill International Conference Center. Under the theme "Staying True to Our Mission  Creating New Brilliance," more than 600 GBase employees and shareholder representatives gathered to review 2016 and look ahead to 2017.

In 2016, through the dedicated efforts of all GBase team members, the company achieved remarkable results in branding, products, marketing, and market presence. The company was selected for multiple national-level exhibitions, received visits from ministry and government leaders, and hosted delegations from various government agencies. On the capital market front, GBase raised RMB 191 million, providing solid financial support for the company's strategic development. Among the over ten thousand companies listed on the NEEQ (where GBase is listed as General Data), it ranked fourth in innovation capability.

In 2016, GBase launched its enterprise-class big data convergence platform, GBase UP, which effectively integrates traditional OLTP databases, MPP-based OLAP databases, and Hadoop systems. This allows each system to deliver maximum value and enables unified management of hot, warm, and cold data.

In 2016, GBase achieved major breakthroughs in sectors such as finance, telecommunications, government services, and utilities. It supported the largest big data analytics platform in the financial industry (Agricultural Bank of China's big data analytics platform), the largest domestic database-based monetary transaction system in finance (Beijing Rural Commercial Bank's business system), and the largest MPP node deployment in China (China Mobile's centralized business analysis project). GBase products also entered the human resources and social security sector across the board. Additionally, GBase's channel business gained new momentum, pioneering multiple cooperation models.

At the conference, GBase Chairman Cui Weili outlined the vision for 2017.

2017 is a critical year. GBase will continue to invest in database technology and product R&D to strengthen the competitiveness of China's homegrown databases. The company will break into new industries and customer segments, bringing independently-developed Chinese databases into more users' core systems to safeguard national information security and enterprise data security.

The awards ceremony is a traditional highlight of GBase's annual conference. As always, the gala presented the Ten-Year Dedication Award and various 2016 Excellence Awards.

The evening also featured spectacular artistic performances and a lucky draw. The lively and passionate acts by GBase team members ignited the atmosphere, with thunderous applause and cheers filling the hall.
