GBase and QingCloud Join Forces to Deliver Cloud-Based Database Services

On March 23, QingCloud released its AppCenter 2.0 platform in Beijing, with GBase attending the event as an invited partner.

AppCenter 2.0 provides enterprises, application providers, and developers with an application delivery and operations management platform in cloud computing environments, along with a complete set of frameworks for developing cloud-native applications and cloud-enabling existing ones. By standardizing application delivery and management, it simplifies the development, deployment, management, and O&M processes, helping cloud users and application providers minimize IT complexity.

GBase adopts a product strategy that targets specific market segments with distinctive offerings. Its portfolio includes an analytical database (GBase 8a), a transactional database (GBase 8t), a directory database (GBase 8d), a security database (GBase 8s), and an in-memory database (GBase 8m), meeting over 95% of the database needs in China.

During the conference, Zhao Wei, Senior Vice President of GBase, said, "Our goal is to make databases easier and simpler for users. Leveraging QingCloud's container-based PaaS platform, we simply need to provide product images to the QingCloud AppCenter, and users can deploy and install databases with just one click. QingCloud's centralized enterprise and user consoles allow intuitive and convenient operations management, significantly reducing user costs."

By partnering with QingCloud and leveraging the enhanced ease of use of this new platform, GBase is able to provide cloud services to users across industries in China. This also marks another important exploration in implementing GBase's cloud strategy.
