"Taking History as a Mirror, Creating the Future" — Joint Themed Party Day Activity Commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the CPC by the High-tech Zone Science and Technology Innovation Bureau and General Data Technology

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, carry forward the red bloodline, promote revolutionary traditions, further enhance the cohesion and combat effectiveness of Party organizations, give full play to the leading role of Party building, and promote high-quality development of enterprises, on July 14, the Party Branch of the High-tech Zone Science and Technology Innovation Bureau and the General Party Branch of General Data Technology jointly held the joint themed Party Day activity "Taking History as a Mirror, Creating the Future" commemorating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC. All Party members from the Party Branch of the High-tech Zone Science and Technology Innovation Bureau and Party member representatives from the General Party Branch of General Data Technology participated.

On the day of the event, the attending Party members deeply studied the important speech delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and reviewed the glorious century-long journey of the Party. The great Communist Party of China grew from a tiny spark to illuminating everything, from strenuous steps to light-footed strides, from being bullied and lagging behind to standing tall among the world's nations. Since its birth, the Communist Party of China has always upheld its original aspiration and mission of seeking happiness for the Chinese people and rejuvenation for the Chinese nation. It has forged the great founding spirit of upholding truth and ideals, staying true to its original aspiration and mission, fighting bravely without fear of sacrifice, and remaining loyal to the Party and faithful to the people. The CPC has led the Chinese people to achieve the tremendous leap from standing up and growing prosperous to becoming strong.

During the exchange and discussion, the two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on their specific Party building work. The secretary of the Party Branch of the Science and Technology Innovation Bureau shared the branch's themed learning series "Party Members Tell Party History" and special Party building activities such as bringing the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress into enterprises. The secretary of the General Party Branch of General Data Technology shared highlighting work in Party building driving business, such as building "Party Member Pioneer Demonstration Posts" and the mechanism of giving priority to Party members in recruitment and promotion. They expressed that they will keep their feet on the ground, based on their own posts, and earnestly play the leading and exemplary role of non-public Party organizations. Going forward, the Science and Technology Innovation Bureau will continue to provide services, focus on building the "China IT Application Innovation Valley," actively develop the "Financial IT Application Innovation" brand, promote breakthroughs in core technologies, and support technological self-reliance and self-strengthening. It will accelerate efforts to strengthen and supplement the industrial chain of the IT application innovation industry, gathering strength for the high-quality development of the High-tech Zone.

Subsequently, Party members from the Party Branch of the Science and Technology Innovation Bureau and Party member representatives from the General Party Branch of General Data Technology visited the Memorial Hall of the Awakening Society and the Pingjin Campaign Memorial Hall. At the former site of the Awakening Society, the Party members profoundly felt how the 20 progressive students who gathered to seek the truth matured through the baptism of the May Fourth Movement and contributed to the nation and the people. At the same time, they gained a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the revolutionary journeys of the two predecessors, Zhou Enlai and Deng Yingchao. Guided by the docent at the Pingjin Campaign Memorial Hall and through viewing picture exhibitions, physical objects, documents, video footage, and sculptures, heroic faces of revolutionary pioneers in their 30s, 20s, or even younger appeared vividly before them. Each Party member deeply realized that each generation has its own mission of the times, thus strengthening their conviction and determination to shoulder the great mission of this era.

This joint themed Party Day activity was not only a Party building pairing and mutual help activity, but also a government-enterprise collaboration and mutual promotion event. While receiving profound patriotic education, it further ignited everyone's passion for entrepreneurship and work. A hundred years of trials and tribulations, history bears witness. One hundred years ago, the Chinese nation presented a scene of decay and decline to the world. Today, it presents a scene of prosperity and vigor. Taking history as a mirror to create the future, drawing rich nourishment from the "textbook" of a century of history, on the new journey, we will firmly grasp the "nine musts," remain more determined and conscious in bearing our original aspiration and mission, and work tirelessly to build an upgraded version of the national independent innovation demonstration zone and a top-tier science and technology city in northern China.
