Recently, the 'Embracing New Momentum, Writing a New Chapter in Cloud' – China Unicom Cloud Roadshow (Sichuan) and Ecosystem Partner Conference was successfully held at the Ya'an Big Data Industrial Park. GBASE, as a key partner of China Unicom Cloud, was invited to attend the conference. Zhang Jianguo, Technical Director of the Southwest Region, delivered a keynote speech titled 'Empowering the China Unicom Cloud Ecosystem,' sharing GBASE's product and practical experience in the database field.

The conference was hosted by China Unicom Digital Technology Co., Ltd. and co-organized by China Unicom Sichuan Branch, Ya'an Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, and the Management Committee of Ya'an Economic and Technological Development Zone. Cloud computing experts from across China, specialists from China Unicom Cloud headquarters, as well as leaders, experts, and scholars in big data, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and blockchain from Sichuan Province gathered to discuss cloud computing industry policies and share insights.

Zhang Jianguo pointed out that enterprises today do not lack data; in fact, they possess vast amounts of data. The key focus should be on transforming this massive, complex, and siloed data into valuable insights that can support leadership decision-making and empower production, safety, and other areas. Once enterprises harness big data, cloud adoption will be the future direction.

In response to customer demand for cloud-driven transformation and innovation, GBASE continues to advance its cloud development strategy. GBase GCDW, a cloud-based logical data warehouse, is a critical big data platform component with comprehensive processing capabilities. It develops integration capabilities with other platforms, multi-tenant data openness, and cross-site operations. Incorporating intelligent computing, including machine learning, it supports converged computing between relational and non-relational workloads, along with real-time data ingestion and processing as a real-time data warehouse.

GBase GCDW also supports secure data transmission and storage. Leveraging these capabilities, it enables data lakes, data warehouses, data marts, and data middle platforms. It also supports a compute-storage separation architecture to enable DaaS (Data as a Service) deployment and provisioning across analytical domains, integrating private and public clouds. This delivers cloud data warehouse capabilities, providing a pivot for digital transformation across industries.

At the conference, the GBASE exhibition booth attracted many industry experts and business leaders, who stopped by to explore. They strongly resonated with the corporate philosophy of 'Professionals Do Professional Work – GBASE Has Been Dedicated to Databases for 20 Years,' and engaged in further discussions about the GBase series of database products.

GBase databases have already provided products and services to over 10,000 users across more than 100 industries, including finance, telecommunications, government and public sectors, transportation, energy, and national defense. With over 30,000 deployment nodes and managing more than 300 PB of data, GBASE will continue to uphold its philosophy of 'dedication forging professionalism,' empowering the digitalization of all industries with core competitive database products.
