Data Drives IT Application Innovation: GBASE Elected as Council Member of Guangxi Electronics Society

On March 26, the “9th Guangxi Electronics Society General Meeting and 2023 Next-generation Information Technology Development Forum” was held in Nanning. The event was guided by the Guangxi Big Data Development Bureau, hosted by the Guangxi Electronics Society, and co-organized by GBASE (General Data Technology Co., Ltd.). At the meeting, GBASE was appointed as a new council member of the Society and delivered a keynote speech titled “GBASE Database: Deeply Rooted in Guangxi, Serving ASEAN.”

The event brought together over 700 participants, including leaders from the Guangxi Association for Science and Technology, the Big Data Development Bureau, the Electronics Society, as well as council member representatives and expert members, to promote the prosperity and development of electronic information science and technology in Guangxi, foster innovation in electronic scientific research, facilitate technological exchange and cooperation, advance science and technology popularization, and nurture talent growth.

The General Meeting elected the new council of the Society. Under the leadership of the new council, all council members will unite and work together, contributing ideas and strategies for the Guangxi big data strategy and jointly writing a new chapter in the construction of Digital Guangxi.

At the event, Yang Shixuan, General Manager of GBASE’s South China Marketing Department, delivered a keynote speech titled “GBASE Database: Deeply Rooted in Guangxi, Serving ASEAN.”

GBASE, as a leading Chinese database provider, has built a product system and service solutions covering the full data management lifecycle and entire technology stack. It is deeply rooted in a robust IT Application Innovation ecosystem and has actively participated in IT Application Innovation initiatives across multiple provinces and critical sectors in China. Many of its achievements have been recognized as benchmark cases in the IT Application Innovation industry, driving the practical implementation of IT Application Innovation and broadly empowering IT Application Innovation upgrades across various industries.

Currently, GBASE has been deeply involved in the informationization projects of ASEAN member countries, including Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Myanmar, Vietnam, and Malaysia. In the future, it will use Nanning as a bridgehead to support ASEAN’s informationization, radiating across all ten ASEAN nations. GBASE will continue to deepen its core database technologies, expand its technical and marketing team, continuously enhance service capabilities, and ensure robust service support.

An exhibition area for scientific and technological achievements was set up at the event. GBASE showcased multiple core products, including the distributed logical data warehouse GBase 8a, the shared-storage database cluster GBase 8s, the multi-model multi-state distributed database GBase 8c, and the cloud-native data warehouse GBase GCDW, as well as several outstanding IT Application Innovation solutions, attracting many attendees to stop by and learn more.

As the newly appointed council member of Guangxi Electronics Society, GBASE will continue to refine and iterate its database products, while deepening cooperation with informationization service providers in the region. Together, they will develop and promote joint IT Application Innovation solutions for various industries, accelerate the rapid growth of the IT Application Innovation industry in Guangxi, and contribute core strengths to the construction of Digital Guangxi.
