GBase Signs Strategic Partnership Agreement on Autonomous Network Sub-Chain with China Mobile, Co-Building a New Intelligent Operations Ecosystem.

March 24, The "Autonomous Network Sub-Chain Partner Forum," hosted by China Mobile's Network Department, was held in Beijing. GBase, as one of the leading Chinese database vendors, was invited to attend and formally signed the "Strategic Partnership Agreement on the Autonomous Network Sub-Chain" with China Mobile, and jointly participated in the innovative research on the key project "Improving Adaptation, Migration, and O&M Capabilities for Homegrown Databases."

The modern mobile communications industry is a strategic, foundational, and pioneering sector that underpins economic and social development. Currently, while China's digital economy is booming, the mobile communications industry chain remains relatively weak in core areas such as foundational software, semiconductors, and chips, placing higher service demands on telecom operators and IT vendors. China Mobile actively takes on national science and technology innovation tasks and shoulders the responsibility as the chain leader of the modern mobile information industry chain. Autonomous networks, as a key technology direction within the modern mobile information industry chain, have become one of the first ten sub-chains established.

China Mobile's Network Department leads the development of the autonomous network sub-chain, joined by GBase and 76 other sub-chain member units, to strengthen industry guidance for autonomous network development, build a mutually beneficial ecosystem, and serve the digital and intelligent transformation of the entire society.

As a pioneer and builder of homegrown foundational software, GBase has deeply cultivated core database technologies and actively explored areas such as database peripheral tools development, autonomous O&M, and the convergence of DB+AI. It is the earliest independent database product and service provider to achieve large-scale deployment in the financial and telecommunications sectors in China.

GBase has maintained close cooperation with China Mobile. In 2012, after multiple rounds of testing, GBase outperformed many competitors and became the only Chinese vendor to pass the POC test for China Mobile Group's "Centralized Business Intelligence" project. In 2020, GBase secured a 50% share in the primary-standby package of China Mobile's autonomous and controllable OLTP database joint innovation project. Over the past decade, GBase database products have been widely deployed across China Mobile's 29 provincial subsidiaries and headquarters, deeply integrated into its BSS (Business Support System), OSS (Operation Support System), MSS (Management Support System), DPI (Deep Packet Inspection) data, service platforms, and various other business systems, strongly supporting the development of China's modern mobile communications infrastructure.

The signing of the Strategic Partnership Agreement on Autonomous Network Sub-Chain marks a further deepening of cooperation between GBase and China Mobile. Moving forward, the two parties will continuously strengthen strategic synergy, advance core database technology breakthroughs, enhance innovation in business application scenarios, jointly build the autonomous network industry chain, and open a new future of intelligent operations!
