GBASE Wins First Prize in the North China Division of the 2023 Digital China Innovation Contest · IT Application Innovation Track
On March 29, the North China regional finals of the 2023 Digital China Innovation Contest · IT Application Innovation Track concluded successfully. After fierce competition, GBASE's entry, the multi-model, multi-form enterprise-grade distributed database GBase 8c, won first prize in the North China Division and will advance to the national finals to compete for the championship.
The Digital China Innovation Contest · IT Application Innovation Track is China's first professional competition focused on "indigenous digital ecosystems," bringing together key elements of the IT application innovation field and leveraging premium resources from top national contests, major institutions, and large enterprises to accelerate IT application innovation development.
The North China Division received a total of 56 valid entries this time, fully addressing the four designated themes: government service systems, business management systems, production and operation systems, and critical infrastructure, covering industries such as government, foundational hardware and software, telecommunications, judiciary, finance, and healthcare.
The multi-model, multi-form enterprise-grade distributed database GBase 8c earned unanimous recognition from the expert judges for its full-stack domestic support, industry-leading core technologies, comprehensive functionality, and broad development prospects.
GBase 8c is a multi-model, multi-form distributed database built on openGauss 3.0, supporting multiple storage modes such as row-based, columnar, and in-memory, as well as single-node, primary-standby, and distributed deployment forms. GBase 8c features high performance, high availability, elastic scalability, and high security, and can be deployed on physical machines, virtual machines, containers, private clouds, and public clouds. It provides secure, stable, and reliable data storage and management services for core systems in mission-critical industries, internet business systems, and government and enterprise systems. It has already been implemented in multiple projects in finance, government, and other sectors.
