GBASE and Memblaze Enter Strategic Partnership to Jointly Promote Flash-Based Database Appliance Solutions

On October 17, 2016, GBASE and Memblaze signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The two parties will establish a long-term, stable strategic partnership in technology R&D, solutions, and market expansion, complementing each other's strengths and jointly promoting the technological evolution and market development of high-performance flash-based database appliances.
 

Joining Forces  to Create Flash-Based Database Appliance Solutions

The cooperation between GBASE and Memblaze will leverage the technical strengths of both sides to create high-performance, highly reliable database appliance solutions with TCO advantages. While achieving deep technical integration, this strategic partnership also encompasses mutual benefits in areas such as market sales, expansion and maintenance of customer resources in key industries like finance and telecommunications.

Databases are a key application development direction for Memblaze products. Memblaze's PBlaze series PCIe SSDs have accumulated a complete database solution system through long-term practice, capable of meeting the performance, reliability, and capacity requirements of various database applications. In May 2016, Memblaze released the industry-leading data protection and management software FlashRAID, where databases are also one of its important application scenarios.
