From October 13 to 15, the 2016 Confidential Technology Exchange Conference and Product Expo was held in Qingdao. As a premier event in the confidentiality sector, it was attended by leaders and experts including Chen Shiju, Deputy Director of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and Deputy Director of the Central Confidential Committee; Tian Jing, Director of the Central Confidentiality Office and Administrator of the National Administration of State Secrets Protection; Meng Yang, Deputy Secretary-General of the State Council; Yu Xiaoming, Director of the Confidential Committee; and Du Hong, President of the China Confidentiality Association.

Embedded Database Makes Its Debut

With the widespread use of smart mobile devices, rapid advancements in communication technology, and the rise of the Internet of Things, embedded database applications are increasingly common. In response, GBase launched its new embedded database.

The GBase embedded database supports ARM-based chips, x86 chips, and multiple domestic embedded operating systems. It features low resource consumption (requiring only 64 MB of memory and 128 MB of storage space), high stability, and maintenance-free self-management capabilities. It provides enterprise-grade general relational database functionality, strong consistency transaction support, JDBC and ODBC interfaces, and standard SQL. In terms of processing power, it offers up to 256 GB of data storage, can handle tables with hundreds of millions of rows, delivers query performance in microseconds, and processes 3,000 transactions per minute. It inherently excels in confidentiality and security, and can be widely used in navigation systems, avionics equipment testing systems, radar monitoring, industrial production, smart agriculture, healthcare, energy, smart homes, and environmental monitoring.
