Comprehensive Cooperation in Talent and Scientific Research

In the future, the two parties will collaborate on talent development, scientific research projects, and more. The School will adopt “Database Principles and Practical Tutorial: GBase x Analysis and Application” as one of the reference books for the “Database Principles” course. GBase will provide job opportunities for outstanding graduates. Both sides will conduct regular technology exchange activities and establish joint laboratories to jointly undertake research projects at various levels.

University-Industry Cooperation to Cultivate Database Talent

Currently, most Chinese universities teach database courses using mainstream foreign products like Oracle and SQL Server. However, with the growing trend toward domestic alternatives, industries are urgently calling for professionals skilled in China-developed databases. As a leading domestic database company, GBase is committed to promoting and popularizing homegrown data technologies. Jilin University, as a top comprehensive university in China, is responsible for cultivating high-level talent for the nation.

GBase and the School of Computer Science and Technology, Jilin University will leverage their respective strengths, starting with domestic databases, to foster industry-education interaction. This collaboration aims to cultivate more skilled and practical talent for the domestic database and software industries, promoting the robust development of China's foundational software.
