On March 31, GBase, a key partner of China Unicom Wo Cloud, attended the “Unite Wo Power, Share Cloud Value — China Unicom Wo Cloud+ Conference” in Beijing and became the only database vendor selected into the alliance. Liu Ning, General Manager of GBase’s Telecom Business Unit, attended as the company representative.

At the China Unicom Wo Cloud+ Cloud Ecosystem Alliance session, China Unicom unveiled its future cloud computing strategy and jointly launched the China Unicom Wo Cloud+ Cloud Ecosystem Alliance with its partners.

GBase strongly shares Academician Ni Guangnan’s recommendations at the conference on how carriers can better advance cloud computing: build Chinese-developed, independently controlled, and secure clouds that protect users and earn their trust; strengthen technical standards, develop independently controllable technologies, and accelerate application adoption; and deepen collaboration to improve the industry ecosystem. Aligned with China’s independently controllable technology strategy, GBase is fully advancing database localization and contributing to the development of China Unicom Wo Cloud.

GBase has long been committed to “Bringing World-Class Chinese Databases to China,” focusing on database R&D and delivering specialized products for targeted market segments. Products such as GBase 8a, GBase 8t, and GBase 8m are deployed across multiple critical industries and domains, successfully replacing foreign databases and contributing to national strategies for security and independently controllable technology.
