GBase participated in the "2016 4th China Water Conservancy Informatization Technology Forum."

Co-organized by the National Water Ecological Safety Committee of China, the Water Conservancy Informatization Industry Technology and Innovation Strategic Alliance, and the College of Computer and Information of Hohai University, the "2016 4th China Water Conservancy Informatization Technology Forum" was held in Wuhan, Hubei, on March 24-25, 2016. GBase was invited to the conference.

At the conference, Zhang Liang, Vice President of GBase, shared the concept of "Internet+ Water Industry Big Data Solution," covering the big data construction strategy for the water industry in the context of Internet+ (including Internet+, IoT, and cloud computing), the architecture of water big data, how GBase 8a MPP addresses water big data, and water big data analysis based on GBase BI. The presentation was widely acknowledged by the attendees. During the conference, experts asked about the differences between domestic databases and databases such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server. Vice President Zhang Liang provided professional answers that earned unanimous recognition from the experts.
