Ecosystem Building: GBase and Huawei Kunpeng Achieve In-Depth Compatibility, Strengthening China's Chip Ecosystem

Recently, GBase 8s database and the Huawei Taishan 209 server have undergone in-depth adaptation, achieving full compatibility in product functionality and performance. The CPU used in this adaptation is the Kunpeng 920.

Performance test results demonstrate that the combination of GBase 8s/8t and the Kunpeng 920 CPU delivers performance on par with mainstream foreign database and chip combinations.

Based on the mutual certification test results, Huawei has issued a technical certification to the GBase 8s/8t database products.


 

 


 

GBase, leveraging its GBase 8s database, delivers mature, stable, transaction-intensive processing solutions with high performance, high availability, and high reliability. The Huawei Kunpeng 920 is a high-performance data center processor released in January 2019. Independently developed and designed by Huawei, it is built to meet the needs of diverse and green computing in data centers. The Kunpeng 920 processor is compatible with the ARM architecture and is purpose-built for applications such as big data processing and distributed storage.
