GBase database efficiently powers the National Credit Information Sharing Platform.
Project Background
The National Credit Information Sharing Platform project leverages the national e-government extranet to enable credit information collection from all provinces, cities piloting the social credit system, and national agencies (involving hundreds of nodes). In accordance with the requirements of the State Council and the National Development and Reform Commission, the project accelerated the connection of all departments to the data exchange platform, completed the installation and deployment of front-end nodes for all State Council departments and provincial/municipal nodes, and integrated them into the national e-government extranet data exchange platform, further promoting the interconnection of information resources between provinces, cities, and departments. The data exchange platform serves as a management platform that provides public data sharing and exchange services and enables integrated configuration monitoring.
Solution
The credit information sharing platform is an integrated management platform for credit information, primarily handling data sharing and exchange, data processing, and data presentation. It comprises front-end exchange nodes, data processing nodes, and a data display platform. Front-end nodes collect, transmit, and adapt information resources; data processing nodes integrate, process, and analyze the credit data gathered from front-end nodes; and the display platform presents the processed credit data. All data processing nodes and some front-end exchange nodes of the platform use GBase series database products. As illustrated, the pre-processing collection area at certain front-end nodes, the exchange data area, the data processing area, the core data area, and the external service data area all run on GBase 8s, while the thematic data area employs GBase 8a. GBase 8s, a transactional database, ensures business continuity for the platform, with performance optimized for scenarios involving large data volumes and highly complex processing, fully meeting business requirements and accelerating the integration of departments into the data exchange platform. GBase 8a, an analytical database, mainly handles big data analytics and thematic database management within the data processing nodes, satisfying demands for massive data support and high-performance queries.
Since implementation, over one hundred database instances have been deployed across ministries, commissions, provinces, and municipalities. All systems have remained stable. Operating under a fully localized deployment architecture, no production issues affecting business operations have emerged, and overall performance remains smooth, demonstrating high compatibility with other databases.
Value Delivered
High Performance: Meets the high-concurrency, high-performance data exchange requirements of the platform. Through layer-by-layer performance optimization for large data queries, processing, and particularly complex operations, GBase databases fully satisfy all performance demands, enabling successful data exchange between all connected departments.
Local Infrastructure Compatibility: GBase databases seamlessly integrate with an entirely China-developed platform solution spanning servers, storage, operating systems, and middleware. This demonstrates the full adaptability of domestic databases to native hardware platforms and satisfies the localization requirements of the national exchange platform.
High Concurrency: The national e-government extranet data exchange platform enables efficient interconnection and information sharing between departments, supporting real-time, ultra-high-concurrency information exchange.
