GBase 8a MPP Cluster passed the CAICT Big Data Product Capability Evaluation.
On Friday, November 22, 2019, the evaluation meeting for the ninth batch of CAICT big data product testing was successfully concluded. The evaluation committee consisted of experts from China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, the First Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security, Bank of Beijing, China Unicom Network Technology Research Institute, Beiyin Jinke, China Telecom Beijing Research Institute, and all participating product enterprises. The evaluation process included product documentation review, test report review, Q&A and discussion, and centralized deliberation. GBase 8a MPP Cluster passed the foundational capability evaluation for distributed analytical databases.
GBase 8a MPP Cluster is a mature analytical MPP database in the big data era and a leading analytical database product in China. Based on massively parallel processing, columnar storage, high compression, and intelligent indexing technologies, it has the capability to meet the growing demands for data analysis, data mining, data backup, and ad-hoc queries across data-intensive industries.
