GBASE Recognized as Most Promising Enterprise for Contributions to Civil-Military Integration
Recently, GBASE was recognized as a "Most Promising Enterprise" by the Science and Technology Equipment Chamber of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce. This acknowledgment reflects recognition of GBASE's achievements in civil-military integration and confidence in its future prospects.
"Most Promising Enterprise" Award
Since the issuance of the "Opinions on Integrating Economic and Defense Development" in March 2016, civil-military integration has deepened steadily. In August 2017, the "Special Plan for Science and Technology Civil-Military Integration Development in the 13th Five-Year Plan" was released, calling for the basic establishment of a collaborative innovation system for military and civilian science and technology by 2020, and promoting a deeply integrated development pattern that encompasses all elements, covers multiple domains, and yields high efficiency.
For over a decade, GBASE has been dedicated to the research and development of homegrown database and big data technologies and solutions. With a mature portfolio of products and solutions, GBASE serves over ten thousand users across finance, telecommunications, government, defense, energy, and other enterprise sectors. The ongoing implementation of the civil-military integration strategy has opened a broader stage for GBASE, enabling its independently developed, reliable, and fully validated homegrown technologies and products to serve military applications. To date, GBASE has been successfully deployed in more than 20 central government agencies and other key Party, government, and military departments.
In the big data domain, GBASE's homegrown analytical database has become a leading product. It features columnar storage, smart indexing, and sub-second response time for queries on hundreds of billions of data rows, making it ideal for massive data analysis scenarios such as battlefield situational awareness, intelligence, and meteorology and hydrology. Today, the largest data warehouses in the military, banking, and telecom sectors are powered by this product.
In the security field, GBASE's homegrown secure database has passed Level 4 certification of the Ministry of Public Security's Multi-Level Protection Scheme (MLPS) and certification by the State Secrecy Bureau, meeting requirements for information security government procurement. The product holds an ISCCC certificate, a commercial cryptography model certificate, and a classified information system product testing certificate. It has widely replaced foreign databases in core business systems and is deployed extensively in core Party, government, and military systems.
GBASE's embedded database delivers stable performance with low resource consumption, making it suitable for weapon platforms such as navigation systems, avionics test systems, radar monitoring, ship/aircraft/missile-borne weapon systems, and unattended data acquisition systems.
Recently, the "Opinions on Promoting Deep Development of Defense Science and Technology Industry Civil-Military Integration" was issued, clearly stating that the current and coming period is a strategic window of opportunity for civil-military integration and a critical phase for transitioning from initial integration to deep integration, ultimately achieving leapfrog development. GBASE will spare no effort to contribute its strengths along the path of civil-military integration.
