GBase Retains Crown as China's No.1 Domestic Database

On March 16, the "Smart Era · Digital Economy" 2017 China IT Market Annual Conference hosted by CCID Consulting was grandly held at the Shangri-La Hotel, Beijing. Experts including Lu Shan, President of the China Center for Information Industry Development (CCID); Wu Hequan, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering; and Shen Changxiang, Academician of both the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, attended the event. 

GBase, for its outstanding performance in 2016, won two major awards:

As a result, GBase has ranked first in domestic database market share for four consecutive years in the "China Platform Software Market Research Annual Report" published by CCID Consulting.

 In 2016, GBase achieved major breakthroughs in sectors such as finance, telecommunications, government, and power, maintaining its advantage as the domestic database market leader. GBase databases powered the largest big data analytics platform in the financial industry—the Agricultural Bank of China’s big data analytics platform; the largest domestic database transaction processing system in the financial sector—the Beijing Rural Commercial Bank’s business system; and the application with the largest number of MPP nodes in China—the China Mobile Group centralized business analysis project. GBase’s full product portfolio entered the human resources and social security sector. Additionally, GBase’s channel business took on a new look, creating multiple collaboration models.

In 2016, GBase launched GBaseUP, an enterprise-level big data convergence platform that effectively integrates traditional OLTP databases, MPP analytical (OLAP) databases, and Hadoop systems. This platform maximizes the value of each system and achieves unified management of hot, warm, and cold data—a major innovation in the big data era.

Through innovation, GBase stood out among thousands of companies listed on the New Third Board (NEEQ), ranking fourth in innovation capability (stock name: General Data Technology). Winning the "China IT Self-Innovation Enterprise of the Year" award this time is another recognition by the market of GBase's independent innovation capabilities.
