Recently, General Data Technology Co., Ltd. (branded as GBASE) has won the bid to provide its multi-model, multi-state distributed database GBase 8c for the distributed transactional database integration project of the Tianjin Municipal Market Supervision and Administration Commission.

Upon project completion, the Commission will use GBase 8c to process business data for over 1.587 million market entities in Tianjin. This marks another successful deployment of GBase database in the government sector, strongly demonstrating market recognition of GBASE's databases, products, and services.

GBase 8c is a multi-model, multi-state distributed database built on the openGauss 3.0 kernel. It supports multiple storage modes—row-based, columnar, and in-memory—along with standalone, active-standby, and distributed deployment topologies, allowing it to flexibly handle OLTP, OLAP, and extreme-performance scenarios. With high performance, high availability, elastic scalability, and robust security, GBase 8c delivers secure, stable, and reliable data storage and management services for core systems in critical industries, government and enterprise business systems, and internet business systems. To date, GBase 8c has been deployed in multiple projects, including a health code platform, an online lending platform for a city commercial bank, and an identity authentication platform.

Once the project is completed, GBase 8c will provide convenient, high-quality database support services to the Tianjin Municipal Market Supervision and Administration Commission, helping it improve the business environment in Tianjin. Looking ahead, General Data Technology will continue to safeguard the information technology development of various industries in Tianjin with its GBase databases.
