Product Updates
In April, GBASE's massively parallel distributed database GBase 8a MPP Cluster won the bid for PICC P&C's "2022 Basic Software Products and Services Procurement" project. This is the third-phase project supported since GBASE partnered with PICC P&C in 2019. Upon deployment, it will significantly meet the incremental data demands of PICC P&C's Big Data Center and R&D Center, unify data lakes, data warehouses, and various analytical applications running on GBASE databases, and provide stable support for massive data analysis and queries.
Awards & Recognition
The multi-model distributed database GBase 8c won the First Prize in the North China Division of the 2023 Digital China Innovation Contest – IT Application Innovation Track. After intense competition, it went on to win the Second Prize in the national finals.
In early April, the Big Data Technology Standards Promotion Committee of the China Communications Standards Association (CCSA TC601) held its first plenary meeting of 2023 in Hangzhou. GBASE was honored as an "Outstanding Member Unit of 2022."
On April 18, the 2nd China International Software Development Conference, themed "Breakthrough in Core Technologies, Empowering the Real Economy," was held at the China National Convention Center in Beijing. GBASE's multi-model distributed database GBase 8c was recognized as a "2022 Typical Demonstration Case in the Software Industry."
On April 20, the 2023 IT Market Annual Conference, hosted by CCID Consulting under the theme "Convergence and Innovation for Value Revival," took place in Beijing. With its comprehensive product and service system and outstanding database kernel R&D capabilities, GBASE was named a "2022-2023 Next-Generation Information Technology Innovation Enterprise."
Events
On April 7-8, the 12th Data Technology Carnival (DTC 2023) was held in Beijing. GBASE was invited to participate, showcasing core products at its booth and delivering a keynote on trending database topics.
On April 18-19, GBASE participated in the Shanghai IT Application Innovation Industry Summit upon invitation.
On April 20, GBASE was invited to the YSS Fintech Summit, where it delivered a keynote titled "Application and Practice of GBASE Database in the Financial Industry."
On April 21, GBASE, in partnership with the Modb Community, officially launched the "2023 First GBASE Database Writing Contest."
On April 21-23, the 8th China (Beijing) Military Intelligent Technology and Equipment Expo was held in Beijing. GBASE exhibited its full-stack database products and solutions tailored for national defense and military industries.
On April 27, the "2023 Guangxi Information Technology Application Innovation Conference & GBASE Database China Tour" was grandly held in Nanning. The event was guided by the Guangxi Digital Expert Advisory Committee and the Guangxi Federation of Information Technology Development Organizations, and jointly hosted by GBASE, Kylinsoft, Tongtech, Venustech, and Kingsoft Office. The April stops of the "GBASE China Tour" in Chongqing, Shijiazhuang, and Nanning concluded successfully.
On April 27-29, GBASE was invited to the "Beijing-Qingdao Rail Transit Expo Summit, also the 1st Urban Rail High-Tech Fair" held in Qingdao.
Training
On April 10, GBASE held the fourth session of the 2023 "GBase 8a MPP Cluster Database Certification Training Program."
Ecosystem
GBASE was elected as a new council member of the Guangxi Electronics Association.
In April, GBASE completed over ten product compatibility tests with partners such as iSoftStone, CE-Cloud, DHC Software, Primeton, and Yunhe Enmo, covering operating systems, cloud platforms, and industry application systems, and obtained mutual certification.
