The 2023 Guangxi IT Application Innovation Conference and GBase China Tour Nanning Station Grandly Held

On April 27, 2023, the 2023 Guangxi IT Application Innovation Conference and GBase Database China Tour was successfully held in Nanning, Guangxi. Nearly 400 attendees, including leaders from local government departments, industry clients, experts, scholars, enterprise representatives, and media, participated in the event.

The conference was initiated by GBase and guided by the Digital Guangxi Expert Advisory Committee and the Guangxi IT Development Organization Federation. It was co-organized with companies including Digital China, Kylinsoft, TongTech, Kingsoft Office, and VenusTech. The goal was to bring together the innovation momentum of leading IT application innovation vendors, foster in-depth exchanges and sharing of IT application innovation achievements, and deeply empower the integrated development of IT application innovation adoption and industry digital transformation across the autonomous region.

Wu Shanwang, Deputy Director of the Cybersecurity Division of the Cyberspace Administration of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, delivered a speech on behalf of the administration, stating: "The core issue in advancing the IT application innovation industry is to leverage application-driven development to build a domestic IT software and hardware foundational architecture and a full-lifecycle ecosystem. The autonomous region is promoting the 'Digital Guangxi' initiative and the China-ASEAN Information Harbor, and we must accelerate the all-encompassing and end-to-end transformation and upgrading of all industries through IT application innovation, thereby unleashing the amplifying, overlapping, and multiplying effects of data on economic development."

Lan Hongxing, President of the Guangxi IT Development Organization Federation and Head of the Guangxi Cybersecurity and IT Expert Advisory Group, attended the conference and delivered a speech. Lan stressed that independent and controllable IT application innovation is the key to building a Digital China and a cyber powerhouse. In recent years, the autonomous region has seized the opportunities of digital economy development and steadily advanced the IT application innovation substitution program, promoting and attracting a group of leading IT application innovation enterprises to establish operations and serve Guangxi.

At the conference, Wei Senquan from GBase delivered a keynote speech titled "Deeply Cultivating in Guangxi, Serving IT Application Innovation." Wei explained that to accelerate the practical adoption of IT application innovation, GBase has built a full-technology-stack GBase database product portfolio that includes analytical, transactional, distributed transactional, and cloud-native data warehouse products along with service solutions, achieving large-scale deployment in sectors such as finance, telecommunications, transportation, and energy. Currently, GBase is deeply engaged in the informatization initiatives of ASEAN member countries including Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Myanmar, Vietnam, and Malaysia.
