GBASE Chairman Ding Mingfeng and Delegation Visit Guangxi Big Data Development Bureau to Explore Cooperation and Seek Joint Growth
On November 3, Ding Mingfeng, Chairman of GBASE (General Data Technology Co., Ltd.), led a delegation to visit Zhao Zhigang, Deputy Secretary-General of the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Party Secretary and Director of the Big Data Development Bureau. They reported on GBASE's achievements and development plans in the autonomous region, and both sides reached a preliminary consensus on deepening cooperation.
To promote the steady progress of Guangxi's informatization and further strengthen cooperation between GBASE and the Guangxi Big Data Development Bureau, GBASE Chairman and CEO Ding Mingfeng, accompanied by key team members, visited the bureau. The two sides held in-depth exchanges on advancing the high-quality development of Digital Guangxi.
Ding Mingfeng first introduced GBASE's achievements in Guangxi's informatization and its future plans. He noted that GBASE has focused on database technology for twenty years, has extensively supported the localization of IT systems across various industries in China, and has been deeply involved in the informatization process of ASEAN member countries. He expressed hope that the company can shoulder more responsibilities in Guangxi and ASEAN's informatization efforts. The company plans to increase investment in Guangxi and establish a South China Technical Service Center, localizing tax contributions, talent, and services to cover the South China market and ASEAN users. At the same time, GBASE will actively build a talent development system for domestic databases, making significant investments in promoting technical exchanges and talent cultivation across upstream and downstream industries. While continuously enhancing its own service capabilities, the company aims to help industry partners further improve their technical abilities in database migration, adaptation, and operation and maintenance services. Finally, he stated that if Guangxi's database talent pool permits, the company plans to set up an R&D center for database-related peripheral software in Guangxi.
During the symposium, Zhao Zhigang praised GBASE's forward-looking vision and comprehensive system in the database field, and highly recognized its achievements in deeply participating in Guangxi and ASEAN's digital development. He stressed that with the establishment of the National Data Administration and the in-depth growth of the digital economy, it is an inevitable trend to deploy and implement the national big data strategy and accelerate the construction of Digital Guangxi and the China-ASEAN Information Harbor. He expressed the hope to strengthen cooperation with GBASE in Digital Guangxi construction, domestic substitution ecosystem collaboration, and at the capital level. He looked forward to GBASE consolidating its existing achievements, increasing investment, providing better services, and striving for greater development in the subsequent stages of Guangxi's localization efforts. He encouraged GBASE to continue participating in and supporting the construction of Digital Guangxi on the basis of existing cooperation, and to consistently provide database products and services to government and enterprise institutions in Guangxi. Additionally, the autonomous region offers preferential policies for investment promotion, including assistance in tax reductions and exemptions, talent development, enterprise settlement, and development support.
This visit laid a solid foundation for deepening cooperation between GBASE and the Guangxi Big Data Development Bureau. In the future, GBASE will fully implement Guangxi's big data development strategy, empower high-quality Digital Guangxi construction, use Nanning as a bridgehead for ASEAN informatization, and actively participate in building the China-ASEAN Information Harbor.
