2024 Shandong Conference on Information Technology Application Innovation and GBASE Database National Tour Successfully Held
On May 15, the 2024 Shandong Conference on Information Technology Application Innovation and GBASE Database National Tour event was successfully held in Jinan. Over 400 participants, including leaders from provincial-level commissions and bureaus, experts, scholars, enterprise representatives, and ecosystem partners, gathered to discuss digital transformation development under the new situation.
This event was co-hosted by GBASE (General Data Technology) together with Sichuan Huakun Zhenyu Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., VSTECS Holdings Limited, Beijing Changqing Software Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Yunzhou Information Technology Co., Ltd. (ZStack). It aimed to bring together leading information technology enterprises in the Shandong region, and engage customers, channel partners, platform providers, and partners from across the region to jointly explore digital transformation across all levels of organizations, leverage the application of information technology in various industries, and drive business innovation.
At the beginning of the conference, Ping Juan, General Manager of East China at GBASE; Wang Kun, General Manager of Shandong Representative Office of Sichuan Huakun Zhenyu; and Xin Huiling, Deputy General Manager of Shandong Branch of VSTECS, delivered speeches successively, extending warm welcome and gratitude to all the guests and partners. They looked forward to the future trends of the IT application innovation industry and expressed a shared vision of win-win collaboration.
The conference specially invited Chen Gang, former Director of the Information Center of Shandong Cancer Hospital, to share his expertise. He discussed the development process and construction challenges of IT application innovation in the healthcare sector from the user's perspective.
Director Chen noted that medical IT application innovation is accelerating, and in the coming years, the market size for medical IT application innovation will experience exponential growth, with full-scale breakout expected after 2025. With the continuous improvement of regulations and standards in the healthcare industry, the level of information management in the medical field is steadily rising. After decades of development, the entire medical system has shown characteristics such as the integration of diverse application software, massive data interaction, parallel use of multiple databases, high-pressure operation of core systems, and relatively frequent system upgrades/software replacements. He provided a detailed analysis of pain points in IT application innovation for healthcare, including terminal and desktop operating systems, selection of foundational IT innovation hardware and software, and adaptation and testing of medical business systems, and proposed feasible solutions.
During the keynote sharing session, Huang Zhao, Director of Ecosystem Development at Sichuan Huakun Zhenyu Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., delivered a speech titled "Riding the Trend, Advancing Together, and Persevering to Go Far."

Zhang Yi, General Manager of Products at GBASE, shared a keynote speech titled "GBASE Full-Stack IT Innovation Database Empowering Digital Transformation Across Industries."
