Financial IT Application Innovation Ecosystem Laboratory Visits GBase for Exchange and Discussion

On June 20, 2024, General Manager Ban Tinglun of the Financial IT Application Innovation Ecosystem Laboratory led a delegation to visit GBase (General Data Technology) for research and exchange.

General Manager Ban Tinglun stated that the laboratory implements the national innovation-driven development strategy, adheres to the principles of "joint discussion, joint development, mutual benefit, and sharing," remains focused on goals and problems, pools resources from multiple sides, addresses common challenges in financial IT application innovation, develops solutions and implementation paths, provides financial institutions with replicable and scalable guidelines and demonstrations, and offers industry institutions services such as demand matching, product iteration, technological breakthroughs, and technological innovation.

Chairman Ding Mingfeng stated that GBase (General Data Technology), founded in 2004, has consistently pursued independent innovation, focusing on database product R&D and services. It has a comprehensive presence across critical information infrastructure sectors including Party and government, finance, telecommunications, energy, transportation, healthcare, and education. He highlighted in particular the application of GBase databases in supporting the digital transformation of the financial industry and the implementation of the "five key focus areas" (technology finance, green finance, inclusive finance, pension finance, and digital finance), and pointed out the future direction of database products as well as GBase's exploration and practice in artificial intelligence.

The two parties agreed to leverage the financial IT application innovation service platform to jointly promote industry-finance integration, tackle research topics, further develop financial sector-specific solutions, continuously summarize experiences, explore best practices in the financial industry, and better address the common challenges facing the sector.
