Intelligence Empowers Liaoning, Data Links Win-Win | Liaoning IT Application Innovation Summit & GBase Database China Tour Concludes Successfully

On May 9, the Liaoning IT Application Innovation Summit and GBase Database China Tour was grandly held in Shenyang. With the theme of “Intelligence Empowers Liaoning, Data Links Win-Win”, the conference focused on IT application innovation ecosystem development and jointly building an independently controllable digital foundation.

The event brought together many guests and expert representatives from relevant government departments, upstream and downstream enterprises across the industry chain. At a critical juncture of the digital wave and the accelerated development of the IT application innovation industry, participants discussed the path of independent innovation and strategies for ecosystem collaboration around the theme “Intelligence Empowers Liaoning, Data Links Win-Win”. During the conference, the GBase Liaoning Branch was officially inaugurated, and a plaque for “Liaoning Provincial Regional Diamond Partner” was awarded to Shenyang Chengzhi Information Technology Co., Ltd., injecting new vitality into the regional IT application innovation ecosystem.

At the beginning of the conference, Chen Mingzhi, General Manager of GBase North China Region, delivered a speech.

He noted that database technology, as the “root technology” of data infrastructure, is a critical hub for breaking down information silos and supporting core business. General Data Technology will continue to deepen its presence in Liaoning, working with ecosystem partners to advance the IT application innovation industry from isolated replacements to integrated ecosystem development.

Next, Yang Chunliu, Director of Liaoning Office of Photon Union Alliance, emphasized in his speech that computing power is the engine of the digital era, and chips are the heart of computing power. Hygon will unite industry forces with an open approach, linking over 6,000 partners through the Photon Union Alliance to build a complete closed-loop ecosystem.

In the keynote sharing session, Zhao Bo, Technical Director of GBase, delivered a keynote speech titled “Strengthening Chains, Revitalizing Industries; Data Empowers the Future”.

He pointed out that GBase leverages its core strengths of “full-stack independent R&D, deep scenario expertise, and collaborative symbiosis” to build a comprehensive product portfolio of GBase 8s, 8a, and 8c: 8s enables smooth replacement of Oracle RAC, 8a supports ultra-large scale with over ten thousand nodes and 50PB-class data warehouses, and 8c achieves unified transactional and analytical processing. Xu Ji, Co-Founder of Baisheng Intelligent Computing (Shenzhen) Technology Co., Ltd., presented a speech titled “Intelligent O&M, Secure Foundation”.

He noted that with the increasing complexity of IT application innovation ecosystems, system O&M is undergoing a complete upgrade from traditional rule-based reactive responses to automated, visualized, and predictive intelligent capabilities. By introducing AI technology to build an intelligent diagnostic system, fault location can be achieved in minutes or even seconds, shifting O&M from “firefighting” to “active defense”. He emphasized that the deep integration of AI and O&M will completely free up DBA resources, propelling domestic database O&M into a new era of “intelligent autonomy”, and building a robust security defense for IT application innovation systems.

Zhang Yu, Database Business Manager of Hygon Information Ecosystem Development Department, presented a speech titled “Surging Chips, Ecosystem Win-Win”.

She stated that Hygon has built an independent computing matrix driven by the dual engines of “CPU+DCU”, with C86 series CPUs enabling seamless replacement of x86 ecosystems, and DCUs handling multi-modal large model training and inference tasks. By connecting over 6,000 partners through the Photon Union Alliance, Hygon has established a complete closed-loop ecosystem covering chip design, software development, and industry applications. Hygon will continue to deepen its computing foundation, gathering more innovation forces through an open ecosystem to jointly build an independent and controllable digital future.

Ni Jun, Solution Expert of H3C Group, delivered a speech titled “Win-Win Collaboration, Smartly Leading the Future”.

He pointed out that as a leader in digital and AI solutions, H3C has a deep presence across the entire “cloud-network-security-computing-storage-endpoint” chain, dedicated to being a trusted partner for customers’ business innovation and digital transformation. Going forward, H3C will continue to empower various industries, driving digital and intelligent transformation with intelligent digital infrastructure.

Li Yuan, Presales Director for Government and Party Affairs of Beijing Baolande Software Co., Ltd., delivered a speech titled “Full-Stack Self-Developed Foundation, IT Application Innovation Safeguards the Voyage”.

He introduced that Baolande is a national-level specialized and sophisticated “Little Giant” enterprise listed on the Science and Technology Innovation Board (STAR Market), focusing on independent R&D of infrastructure software for 18 years. During the conference, the inauguration ceremony of the GBase Liaoning Branch was held with great fanfare. Du Tao, Director of the IT Application Innovation Committee of China Science and Technology Industrialization Promotion Association; Chen Mingzhi, General Manager of GBase North China Region; Yang Chunliu, Director of Liaoning Office of Sugon Photon Union Alliance; and Jia Guangling, Director of GBase Liaoning-Jilin Office, took the stage together to activate the unveiling device. As the countdown on the big screen reached zero, the GBase Liaoning Branch was officially established. This award marks that the two parties will join hands to deeply cultivate the Liaoning market, jointly explore new tracks in the domestic database industry, and create a mutually beneficial and win-win new future.
