Yinzhou Bank Clearing Platform Database Replacement Project

The clearing platform system, online since May 2009, has been running for over ten years. As a critical business system for Yinzhou Bank, it serves as the most important payment and settlement channel for peripheral systems, handling small-value payments, Super Online Banking payments, Nongxinyin (Rural Credit Cooperative) payments, NetUnion payments, and Provincial Rural Credit Union inter-bank counter transactions. The system relies on an IBM Informix 11.5 database. However, IBM, the original vendor, no longer supports maintenance for Informix 11.5. Any database-level issue could directly disrupt Yinzhou Bank’s normal operations, posing a risk of system interruption.

The project was deployed using an SSC+RHAC cluster, migrating hundreds of tables with a total data volume of hundreds of gigabytes. From installation and deployment, data migration, application cutover, to fault drills, GBase delivered full-cycle technical support, ensuring the smooth replacement and go-live of Yinzhou Bank's clearing platform system.
