Project Background
As Wenergy Group steadily advances its IT construction, the informatization of business development and customer service systems has significantly enhanced the group’s business capabilities and competitiveness, bringing greater market influence and value. Against this backdrop, business development imposes higher requirements for scalability, flexibility, security, and reliability on the IT infrastructure.
The group is committed to building a consolidated business information system, implementing unified portal engine, unified process engine, unified integration engine, unified data engine, unified modeling engine, and unified knowledge engine. As various business functions go live successively, the business data storage system faces more stringent demands for availability and scalability.
Implementation Plan
Against this backdrop, General Data Technology designed a distributed deployment solution for GBase Distributed Database with 12 nodes and 9 high-availability groups. Three nodes form the GTM and DCS clusters to efficiently manage global transactions and node status. The remaining nine nodes handle data reads, writes, and storage, and can store and maintain business data separately based on dimensions such as business line or geographic region. At the same time, each node serves as the standby for the previous node in a circular backup arrangement, preventing data unavailability caused by unexpected downtime.
