GBASE supports the “Trusted Security” of Mizuho Bank(China)'s data processing system.

Mizuho Bank (China), Ltd.

Mizuho Bank is a privately held Japanese bank. Its operations in China date back to 1979, and in June 2007, Mizuho Bank (China), Ltd. was established with its headquarters in Shanghai. The bank has a registered capital of RMB 9.5 billion and operates 13 branches across the country.

Customer Needs

The client’s existing business system relied on a single database for data storage and processing, resulting in weak disaster recovery capabilities and poor integration between data analytics/mining and external applications.

Solutions

Diversified Processing: We perform layered data processing on Oracle, leveraging ETL and CDH/CDP wide-table analytics and mining clusters to run analyses such as renewal rate R and intelligent sales;

Trusted Assurance: We build a trusted zone on GBase 8a database, comprising submission and disaster recovery clusters, and ensure data reliability through DBLINK synchronization and sync scripts;

Application Enablement: We deliver regulatory data marts, submission applications, and trusted zone management tools, and enhance data application efficiency with scheduling and ETL tools.

Project Achievements

This project adopts an architecture of "multi-source data processing + disaster recovery in trusted zones + support for diverse external applications". Powered by GBase database, it delivers end-to-end optimization of financial data—from processing and secure storage to efficient application—enhancing the user's ability to unlock data value.
