GBase Attends the 38th CCF China National Database Conference (NDBC 2021)

Talent is always the source of technological innovation and the critical foundation for a tech company’s sustained vitality and growth. The CCF China National Database Conference (NDBC), which originated in 1977, held its 38th edition from December 3 to 5, 2021, in Kunming, Yunnan Province. This year’s conference featured an exclusive “Enterprise Night” to create a communication platform for academia, developers, application professionals, and enterprises. GBase was invited to attend, where it engaged with over a hundred industry and academia professionals in the database field and outstanding young talents, and also attended various academic presentations.
 

The 38th CCF China National Database Conference (NDBC 2021) was hosted by the China Computer Federation (CCF), jointly organized by the CCF Database Committee and Kunming University of Science and Technology, and co-organized by Yunnan University, Yunnan University of Finance and Economics, Southwest Forestry University, and other universities in Yunnan Province, as well as the Yunnan Key Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence and the Yunnan Key Laboratory of Computer Technology Applications.

The conference brought together dozens of top domestic and international database experts and hundreds of industry elites, focusing on the new challenges, issues, and directions in the database field, and reflecting the latest advances in database technology research in China. The event included the Enterprise Night, multiple technical forums, and continued to feature sessions such as “System Demonstrations” and a “Graduate Academic Mentoring” workshop. Experts gathered both online and offline to share the latest technological achievements.

The “Enterprise Night” invited over a hundred database scholars and outstanding young talents, all presenting papers, panel discussions, and system demonstrations in the database and application fields. During the dinner, GBase interacted with the outstanding young talents, enabling them to further understand GBase’s technical strengths and cultural atmosphere.
