GBase Holds Successful Technical Training for the General Administration of Customs of China

From January 9 to 13, at the invitation of the Science and Technology Department of the General Administration of Customs of China, GBase provided a five-day product training for business and technical personnel from customs offices across the country.

The training integrated product capabilities with business operations for in-depth instruction.

In recent years, GBase has established close cooperation with the General Administration of Customs. For example, GBase BI, the visual business intelligence product from GBase, has been fully deployed in customs business systems. This training was specifically conducted to enable better integration of the product with business needs.

GBase technical experts explained the overall architecture and technical features of GBase BI, as well as the features and usage of its functional modules (including data model, Quick Query, Quick Chart, user management, permission management, and system management). Through hands-on practice and active interaction, participants quickly mastered the basic use of the product and received suggestions on project construction and theme building based on their actual business scenarios.

GBase BI Empowers Customs with Intelligent Query

In May 2016, GBase BI was officially launched in the business system of the General Administration of Customs, meeting the daily business data analysis needs of the GACC and 43 directly subordinate customs offices. It covered functions including:

Combined queries for tax reduction/exemption, customs declaration operation log model, Pan-Pearl River Delta risk assessment, data model for monitoring commodity prices in customs declarations, combined queries for processing trade electronic ledgers, combined queries for old manifests, manifest write-off record queries, automatic model monitoring for the Risk Analysis Division of the Inspection Department, combined queries for anti-smuggling information, and dozens of other topics.

The GBase BI intelligent analysis and query system, after nearly a year of application, has become an indispensable tool for daily customs operations.
