GBase, a Chinese Database, Certifies 35 Products in April

While continuously refining product performance, GBase has been actively enhancing its compatibility system and enriching its partner ecosystem. In April 2022, its three database products achieved compatibility certification with 35 products from 18 upstream and downstream hardware and software vendors. These certifications cover operating systems, storage, big data, servers, GIS systems, disaster recovery software, office software, general-purpose software, and industry applications. All certifications fully meet compatibility requirements, with normal functionality and efficient, stable operation, comprehensively validating the robust compatibility of GBase databases.

GBase 8s is a self-developed shared-storage-based database cluster with independent intellectual property. It meets the Security Database Level 4 standard (equivalent to international B2), supports national cryptographic algorithms, and complies with international database standards and development interfaces such as SQL92/99, ODBC, JDBC, ADO.NET, GCI (OCI/OCCI), and Python. It supports distributed, centralized, shared-storage high-availability, and active-active deployment across two sites with three data centers. With high capacity, high concurrency, and high performance, it delivers a cost-effective general-purpose computing platform for ultra-large-scale data management, suitable for OLTP scenarios—including mission-critical core business systems in finance and telecommunications—and for information systems in sectors such as national security, government and Party, and defense that require high information security.
