As a widely recognized mission-critical database, GBase 8s has achieved the highest security rating (Level 4) in China's database market (equivalent to international B2). It supports international database standards and interfaces such as SQL92/99, ODBC, and JDBC. Supporting shared-storage clusters and three-site high availability deployment, it is well-suited for OLTP workloads, including core business systems in finance and telecom, high-security information systems in security, government, and national defense, as well as operational and management systems in large enterprises. GBase 8s uses the log-based asynchronous tool Enterprise Replication (ER) to replicate data between database servers. On the source server, ER reads the logical log, stores transactions, and reliably transmits each transaction as replicated data to the target server. Its flexible, convenient architecture enables message broadcasting from one source to multiple targets, or message aggregation from multiple sources to one target. Based on actual business structures, it can also support bidirectional data replication among multiple servers to keep data synchronized in real time across all nodes.
Two-Site Three-Center Disaster Recovery
The primary site deploys an SSC cluster for load sharing, with multiple nodes in the cluster providing read/write services. A city-wide disaster recovery site deploys an HAC node for hot standby, ensuring rapid switchover if the primary site fails. A remote disaster recovery site deploys an RHAC node for disaster recovery over thousands of kilometers. All sites are managed uniformly through the CM Connection Manager.
