GBase Showcases at the 2024 World Intelligence Expo

From June 20 to 23, the 2024 World Intelligence Expo, co-hosted by the Tianjin Municipal People's Government and the Chongqing Municipal People's Government, was held in Tianjin.GBase made a prominent appearance at the expo with its full-stack innovative database products and solutions, comprehensively showcasing its cutting-edge technologies and innovations that "empower the intelligent technology industry with data," while promoting the data-intelligence philosophy of the GBase database.

Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter to the 2024 World Intelligence Expo, emphasizing China's strong commitment to AI development and its proactive efforts to deeply integrate the internet, big data, and AI with the real economy, fostering the growth of the intelligent industry, accelerating the development of new quality productive forces, and injecting new momentum into high-quality growth.

Under the theme "Intelligence Drives the World, Innovation Shapes the Future," this year's expo spanned 100,000 square meters of exhibition space and featured 10 major themes, including Artificial Intelligence, Intelligent Manufacturing, Intelligent Connected Vehicles, Robotics, and Smart Finance. Over 550 exhibitors participated, attracting 210,000 visitors and bringing together innovative ideas, products, and technologies from the global intelligent technology sector to convey the latest trends.

GBase presented its full-stack innovative database products and solutions alongside the Tianjin Pavilion, Binhai New Area Pavilion, and Tianjin IT Application Innovation Pavilion. The showcase highlighted the company's cutting-edge technologies and innovations that "empower the intelligent technology industry with data," while promoting the data-intelligence philosophy of the GBase database.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the company's founding. Since its inception, the company has been dedicated to R&D in core, homegrown database technologies and market expansion, building a product and solution matrix that covers the full data lifecycle and technology stack. Its independently developed GBase series databases serve critical sectors such as finance, telecommunications, government, energy, and transportation, with over96,000 deployed nodesand managing over500 PB of data.

As a new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation accelerates, digital technologies like AI, cloud computing, big data, and quantum computing are developing rapidly, propelling us into the AI era. This shift continuously spawns new scenarios, business formats, and models.
 
A single database is no longer suitable for solving all problems; every scenario demands a specialized database product.Against this backdrop, GBase focuses on core database technologies to build a full-stack product system. By matching different database types to various application scenarios, it maximizes the synergy between hardware performance and application requirements. Each product concentrates on solving its primary challenge, delivering precise services to different users. The main products include: GBase 8s, a shared-storage-based database cluster for strongly consistent transactions; GBase 8a, a distributed logical data warehouse for scenarios with heavy analysis and light transactions; GBase 8c, a new-generation intelligent distributed database for scenarios with heavy transactions and light analysis; and GCDW, a cloud-native data warehouse designed for cloud computing and elastic resource scaling.

Addressing key technologies for large models, GBase launched the GBase Cloud Vector DB, designed for various AI-driven application scenarios. It supports the classification, deduplication, and cleansing of massive datasets during the large model training phase and resolves security and privacy issues associated with injecting private data into models. These independent, controllable, stable, and user-friendly database foundational software products empower the vigorous development of the intelligent technology industry.
