HIT Tianjin Alumni Association Visits GBase
On August 1, 2025, a delegation from the Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) Tianjin Alumni Association visited General Data Technology Co., Ltd. (GBase) in Tianjin. Participants included Li Jingwei, President of the HIT Tianjin Alumni Association; Liu Baoliang, Secretary‑General; Wang Haiyan, Secretary of the Association’s Party Branch; Jiang Lijun, Executive President; Li Longfei, Executive Secretary‑General; Ge Xiaoyang, Vice President; alumni representatives Ma Hongwei, Gong Shichao, Liu Zhaohong, Xu Siying, and Lian Shihan; and Song Xiaobo, an alumni representative from Yanshan University.
Ding Mingfeng, an HIT alumnus and Chairman of GBase, was joined by Yang Mu, Assistant to the Chairman; Chen Mingzhi, Director of North China Marketing; Wu Xiaogang, Director of Ecosystem Development; and Liu Shiyang, Director of Public Affairs.
Ding Mingfeng, Chairman, first presented an overview of GBase and extended a warm welcome to the visiting alumni. Ding noted that as a homegrown database company, GBase stays committed to independent innovation, specializing in the R&D and promotion of independently developed database products, and strives to be the most trusted database supplier for its users.
Li Jingwei, President of the association, introduced the Tianjin Alumni Association and thanked GBase for its warm hospitality. Li emphasized that the association consistently upholds the “Three Services” goal—serving the alma mater, serving alumni, and serving local economic development. He expressed the hope that this visit would serve as a starting point to foster regular interactions between alumni enterprises and GBase, integrate resources, complement each other’s strengths, and inject new momentum into the high‑quality development of alumni enterprises.
During the exchange, Chairman Ding and other GBase colleagues accompanied the alumni to tour the GBase exhibition hall. Through on‑site observation and presentations, the visitors gained in‑depth insight into GBase’s development journey, core product technologies, and application scenarios in sectors such as finance, government services, and telecommunications. During the tour, the alumni actively discussed potential areas of cooperation with GBase representatives based on their own business fields, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere.
