Construction of the Logistics Distribution Center Management and Control Platform for Hongyun Honghe Tobacco Group
Project Overview
Against the backdrop of industry-commerce integration, HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group launched the On-site Management and Control Platform for its Honghe Industry-Commerce Integrated Regional Logistics Distribution Center. The initiative addresses current operational challenges and transformation needs, aligning with project objectives to solve business problems and boost efficiency.
By building an efficient and intelligent logistics center, the project elevates overall logistics management. It establishes a data-driven operating model that integrates management of all facets—manpower, machinery, material, method, and environment—and unifies relevant logistics links along the industry-commerce-retail chain. The platform consolidates eight core functional areas: flexible job scheduling, regional information system integration, enterprise-wide data collection, digital equipment management, integrated regional business monitoring, a smart logistics data analytics center, a smart logistics command center, and regional mobile applications for field operations.
Implementation Plan
Based on usage scenarios such as mobile business devices, PC applications, monitoring dashboards, data dashboards, and VR/AR applications, the project uses GBase Distributed Database as the central data store, integrating traditional, upgraded, and new business functions. During the initial deployment, the management platform runs in parallel with the existing legacy operational software, with both old and new systems operating simultaneously.
Taking advantage of GBase’s high Oracle syntax compatibility, it enables data migration, synchronization, and seamless system cutover. GBase Distributed Database offers comprehensive high-availability features, supporting redundancy at both component and replica levels to fully meet customers’ disaster recovery needs. At the same time, strict data security protection mechanisms are established, with regular backup and recovery to prevent unauthorized access, attacks, or data corruption and loss.
Application Benefits
GBase distributed database supports standard SQL syntax and is highly compatible with common Oracle objects and syntax, reducing migration and training costs.
It features spatial database capabilities, providing storage and retrieval of geospatial data for applications, meeting the group's geographic information needs in logistics, distribution, and beyond.
It delivers exceptional stability with strong consistency across multiple replicas, satisfying stringent industry demands for reliability, while offering robust data security to ensure maximum system stability and uptime.
