GBASE Supports Qingdao Rural Commercial Bank's Transition to Independently Developed Databases

Project Requirements

As a local commercial bank, Qingdao Rural Commercial Bank has been driving business innovation and digital transformation through information technology, yet it gradually faced bottlenecks in the performance, reliability, and security of its legacy database systems. Especially in the current international climate, uncertainties in the external technology environment have amplified data security risks. Therefore, to respond to China's policy mandate for adopting homegrown databases in the financial industry, and to strengthen data sovereignty as well as self-controlled capabilities, the bank initiated a project to migrate to domestically-developed databases.
